In November 2024, the Appellate Division, First Department of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, affirmed the final custody order awarding sole legal and physical custody of the child to Karl Reeves. Reviewing the full record, the court found "a sound and substantial basis" for the determination that custody with the father was in the child's best interests, and found the mother's remaining arguments "unavailing." The decision is a matter of public record.

On June 9, 2026, the Family Court issued the Final Order on Petition for Visitation on Consent, fully resolving the post-remand visitation issues.

With the primary proceedings now concluded, Karl Reeves is returning to the market full-time. Seeing these matters through to final resolution while parenting as sole custodian was his principal focus over the past three years. He is now actively advancing CND-SA's strategic advisory mandate for companies in the NYC market.
